Mango Lassi

This is my first time making mango lassi. I was browsing the internet for recipes and there were so many different variations but they all had two ingredients in common. Mango and plain yogurt. I went to pick up some can mango puree at this Indian market that I just discovered. I decided to ask the cashier if he knew how to make mango lassi and he said no but he knew exactly who to ask. I was thinking that he was going to call his mom or his girlfriend. He ended up calling his friend that owned an Indidan restaurant.  Nice. Everyone enjoyed a glass of mango lassi with chicken tikka marsala that my cousin made.

Ingredients: Mango pulp, plain yogurt, sugar to taste.


Blend 1/2 the can mango puree and 1/3 of the yogurt together. There is really no wrong way to do this. Add sugar if it’s not sweet enough. You can also blend in ice as well.
